Baptism Weekend

The girls got to spend some time at the pool at Mike and Laura's hotel Saturday night!
Papa teaching Aubrey to swim!

Propped up on a cushion, on her tummy...we got her to stop crying!!!
The kids in Sunday school

Alexis and her Godmother, Bethany. The Clabuesch baptisimal gown is 90 years old this year and the little sweater is 40. What a blessing to have such a special heirloom in the family.
Lexie with her Godparents Uncle Justin and Aunt Bethany; her other Godfather, Uncle Jon, couldn't make it from California for the weekend. Lexie will get a chance to meet him in May when she goes on her first vacation to LA!
First failed attempt to have Aubrey's picture taken with her Godparents, Mike and Laura

Another failed attempt to get a nice picture with Aubrey and her Godfather, Nate It's caught on camera...my Dad really can smile and show teeth!

What a fast weekend! My dad was able to fly in on Friday night, my brother and his wife drove in on Saturday, and Josh's sister Bethany and her husband Justin made it in for the weekend as well...all made for an even faster weekend! We were so thankful to celebrate with so many friends and family on Sunday for Alexis's reaffirmation. What a blessing to have so many great people in our lives!

Alexis is now just over 3 weeks old and we found out that she is suffering from acid reflux. This makes for one extremely upset little baby. She will start medication today, hopefully it will work quickly and give her some relief. We'll keep you updated on how she's doing....hopefully my mom and I (and Josh too...poor guy doesn't get much sleep) will stay sane to see her through it!
