Green Bay Weekend

Enjoying a little corn on the cob
Jumping in the pool at the hotel in Green Bay
Aubrey had just a little too much fun with Uncle Steve in the pool

Pouty face?
Love this one! Rocketing out of the water
Lexie goes up too!

Having a little supper before walking to Lambeau Field
Allie and her Godfather Uncle Steve stop for a picture at the new Ray Nitschke practice field
Making our way over...

Allie signs her name on the chalk wall at Lambeau
So happy!!

Aubrey bangs her sticks
The players take the field to warm up
Getting a little practice in before the rain cancelled the event
Keeping ourselves busy while we wait out the rain....

An empty, wet Lambeau....
The masses of people waiting out the rain and storms...after an hour or so, we decided to leave and not wait to see if they were cancelling the scrimmage, which they did...they still handed out jerseys however and set off the fireworks. Our hotel was just down the street so we were able to watch them from the parking lot. It was another year of not getting a jersey...however my dad and brother each won an autographed item at the Friday night Packer Partners banquet! Dad got a football signed by Atari Bigby and Steve got a helmet signed by Al Harris...this is three years in a row that the Nelsons have brought home something!
Sunday morning we headed over to Bay Beach on Lake Michigan.
Big sister Allie helps Lex with her shoes
Mom and Allie on the ferris wheel at Bay Beach. The picture is deceiving, it was actually kinda sunny, just super super humid
Lexie waving on her way by on the carousel
Allie and Aubrey riding the boats

Daddy on the scrambler with his girls
Lexie jamming out at home after a bath!
She loves to walk around with a phone (or in this case, and Ipod) and babble!

Nice weekend!
Really great article! I enjoyed reading through it. Green Bay and Wisconsin really has a lot to offer. Fortunately, there are many Green Bay hotels, so people won’t really lack of choices if they do decide to visit this wonderful place.
